Joseph Rubin is a Consultant to the firm’s Financial Advisory Services Group focusing on real estate clients. Joe has over 35 years of experience in the real estate industry supporting his clients’ most important decisions. He has worked with family owned businesses, REITs, private equity funds, and major financial institutions to develop strategy, improve governance and operations, and manage credit risk.

Joe has led advisory engagements to assess current state and design future state organizational structures, end-to-end business process for the real estate investment lifecycle, internal controls, and reporting. He has also provided due diligence support on hundreds of real estate acquisitions, financings, restructurings, and corporate acquisitions across property sectors but with a particular focus on multifamily. Joe also works with real estate families and their family offices on governance, transparency, reporting, and succession planning.

Joe chairs the Advisory Board of the Library of the Jewish Theological Seminary and serves as Vice President on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Association for Services to the Aging, where he is Chair of the Program and Strategic Planning Committees. Joe is also a member of the National Council of Trustees for National Jewish Hospital.
